Who we are

GameX was created in 2009 as an NBC flagship game consumer event, opening the door to other NBC Universal brands and divisions to participate, including SyFy Channel, Universal Pictures, IGA and many others with strong games cross-over interest.

NBC is providing significant media, PR, marketing and promotional resources to GameX, including TV and online advertising in multiple Northeast cities. The mission of GameX is to promote and position the marketing objectives of game publishers and affiliated businesses through national, regional and local high-level media and marketing support directed at a diverse game consumer audience.

More than 20,000 attendees are expected at GameX this year. Additionally, the GameX Industry Summit, produced by IGDA, has been developed to advance the careers and education of game developers by connecting members with their East Coast peers and discussing issues that affect their developer community.

GameX is good for your ROI

No matter what the size of your company, as a GameX exhibitor or sponsor, you will become part of a unique consortium of interactive entertainment businesses who recognize the value of solid game consumer show positioned approximately one month prior to Black Friday holiday shopping.

With NBC’s production of two “live” television shows at the venue GameX is delivering the face to face engagement of the consumer along with media generating millions of media impressions worldwide. We are also offering a non-union show venue, which means your company can keep hard show costs at a minimum, and create maximum product exposure at the same time.

Artists Welcome

Come one, come all! GameX is proud to announce its “Artist Market” area at this fall’s expo!

The Artist Market is designed for artist of all levels, from Pro to Students, to showcase, demonstrate and sell their art work! Tables are priced with the “Starving Artist” in mind. Comic book art, 3-D animations and graphic, paintings, sculptures, props, costume designs, whatever your talent, whatever your skill, you can showcase them here, at the Artist Market!
